MIG-4043 are among the most widely used welding and brazing alloys and can be classified as a general purposefiller alloy. Used to weld alloys with maximum of 2% alloying elements and for castings containing up to 7%Si. The silicon additions result in improved fluidity (wetting action)

to make the alloy a preferred choice by welders. The alloy is not sensitive to weld cracking and

produces bright and almost smut free welds.
